I feel so Blessed!

I was thinking about how far away we live from the Temples and how much gas it takes to commute. It has been a real challenge for me to get to the temple, I wanted to attend the temple once a month, and for the past 4 months I have been able to do this.

I am so grateful I have been able to achieve this goal.

Madison turned 12 on the 17th of June, a special age in our church it is the first opportunity we have to serve in the temple. We extract and search for family members, then we find out of they have been baptized and we do this work vicariously for them, called baptism for the dead. We have found 7 female names and 16 male names in our family line that need to be done. Madi is taking these names with her to the Nauvoo temple in July, following Gracie's baptism.

I am so proud of my children, and the excitement they have to follow our Leaders and do temple work.

How many kids at 12 would choose to spend their birthdays in service? Special kids we have. I am so Blessed.....
