It has been so fun to talk to everyone, and annouce our happy news!
Another note of news is Wes said he thinks Hageland really did pull the deal for the sale. so rather than us being on a time crunch to find work for him, we are back on schedule, and he is still employed (*YEAH!)
Here are the pictures we sent out for Valentines, Enjoy.(remember the Photogapher was very ill when taking these, she idd not have the patience to wait for the perfect smiles!)
Love you all!

So happy to hear from many of you.
I finally sent out pictures of the girls, but rather than my intended 18 cards with Pics, I only sent 4.
So after everyone has received theirs, I will post the pictures used, I don't want to spoil the surprise! ;)
I have been feeling the winter blues, really wishing I could just cook for one day, ok more like a month. I feel like I am frozen solid, and need a good thawing. IT COULD BE WORSE! So I am happy to be happy, but longing to be warm!
The girls have been such good kids! We began a new system of chores and daily readiness, I found it on http://www.childrensmiraclemusic.com/ The two older have already had one private date, and Madi has earned her second, so we are going alone to Glory Road this evening. SHE IS pretty excited!
Rubi has been pretty sick this week, moaning and coughing, and keeping me up all night. She had a fever for three days, that is gone during the daylight, but comes back at night now. Of course she only wants to sleep with mommy, and that makes GREAT for restful sleep! (NOT!)
Madi was reminding me of some of the funny things Rubi has done this past year;
She spent a day searching for the hidden binkies, when she found one she just popped it into her mouth and promptly fell asleep. In the bathroom sink! HA !
I will try to find the picture to show, it was pretty cute!
Well I love hearing form you all, and if you cant figure out the online posting of pics to add, just email them to me and I will post them here!
We Love you all cant wait to see you.
(no new news on Wes's position, I will keep you posted!)

Changes.....we can never stand still....
With Wes's Company selling, we are again on the hunt for a job. We are in total LImbo, there are no options like what he is doing at this point, we are not willing to go back. He is making a decent salary, and getting the time he needs to 'by-pass' Sky-West. He is putting in a resume with Northern Air Cargo. They are equivilent to DHL or UPS. They are a growing company with a hope to enter the Asian market. they would be a strong company to fly for. We are praying he can get hired there.
The bad part is, No matter what happens we will not be able to fly to Utah on our ID95 in May. so we can not afford to pay full price for 6 tickets ( $2280.00) So we are confused as to what we will be doing for our planned trip.
On the home front, the kids are enjoying Hockey, playing 4-5 days a week.
Rubi is growing up fast, and is wearing her "big-girl panties" (huggies Pull-ups) she is at the hit and miss point, some days she hits it every time, other days its a total wash.
Well, for now, we will leave you to enjoy the plethora of family pictures.
We love you all!
Hope to see you soon!

Wes gets the ax..well sort of.....
Hageland Aviation has been in business for over 20 years. Wes has really enjoyed working there, and the company treats their employees very well. He "jumps" (flies to or from work on multiple carriers) for free, and they provide very nice housing for him while in the Bush. The other guys seem to be really good guys to work with/around/for.
When we went to Anchorage for the annual FAA training, the company announced they have sold out to two smaller/unstable companies so that the owner(s) can retire.
So as of April 1st Wes will not be employed with them.
This means we have to find another way to get to Utah, as our ID95 tickets will not be valid( since the company is not going to exist.)
This is why he shaved off his pride(ful) and joy...his facial hair, I was tired of it, but he was really getting a kick out of seeing how long he could get it!
we are bummed, Wes is bummed becasue he really wanted to spen one more summer flying in the bush, fishing and playing in God's back country.
This also puts a time crunch on us to figure out if we are moving to Anchorage or someplace else.
We have looked into airlines in Idaho (to be closer to you all) but it looks like our best option right now is staying in Alaska, for maybe another year.
So pray for us, We love you all and hope (hope and pray) we can make it to see you in May!

Rubi trying to decide if she wanted to kiss this hairy stranger? remember when Wes shaved his beard off last year in Utah , she would have NOTHING to do with him for MONTHS after that. We were trying to avoid a repeat!
